Echid you not. 😉 There's a new Aussie animal on the way and I'm so excited! These guys have been a long time coming and i'm so glad they are almost here. What colours would you like to see with these cuties? I was tossing up about what to put with my Echidnas and eventually I decided that honey ants would have to be the sweetest treat of the Echidna world (and I do love painting sweet treats afterall). 😂 And that got me thinking about what a honey ant's favourite treat might be so I painted some native desert flowers too. Now I'm playing around with layouts to get it just right and it's almost ready to release. 😊 Each of my designs takes alot of time, thought and love with each element dreamt up, sketched out and painted by hand. 💛 Which Australian animal you would like me to paint next? 🌿

What's your favorite lollipop? Those who know me know I have a sugar addiction and also a body that doesn't handle sugar very well. It's like a form of torture. 😂 I work at Yinnar General Store with a whole cabinet of mixed lollies so it's a hard life but I battle on. 👊 I painted some of my favourite lollipops back in December for a little "pop" culture pattern I've been planning. 💖 It's getting there ever so slowly as I juggle my priorities like a mad snake, but they say good things take time. You guys are just amazing. 💖💖💖 Thank you all for your comments and wonderful photos lately. I'm sorry if I haven't responded yet but I'm feeling the love and I really appreciate it. I've been out of action for a while with a sick little boy and we have had alot going on in our lives. Unfortunately the time I can spend on Make Merriness is very limited, it is something I work on gradually when I get a moment spare from my busy little life. I wish I could keep up with all of the enquiries but I am just one person. I have a day job and a family that need to come first. I also need to put my own health first.
